SOPHIE & HENRY
PETERSHAM NURSERIES, LONDON
Sophie and Henry approached us to help plan their wedding, which had been put on hold due to the pandemic. They had changed the location, originally imagining it taking place in Amsterdam, but chose London instead to incorporate more of their loved ones on the day. They required our help to create a day that still felt just as special to them, drawing on both the beautiful English Garden of their chosen venue, Trumpeters House, and incorporating Henry’s Scottish heritage. They specifically wanted the whole day to be outside, but due to English weather (and its temperamental nature!), we assured them that a wet weather plan would be required. We used Raj tents to provide the beautiful tents, which worked perfectly among the rose gardens and apple trees.
As guests left the ceremony, they were greeted with a pop-up Aperol bar, specialty Mr. and Mrs. Cocktails, and incredible canapés using seasonal ingredients. Their wedding breakfast was at Petersham Nurseries in Richmond, which we had exclusive hire of, with harpists serenading guests during dinner, followed by an incredible Ceilidh band leading guests in a traditional dance back at Trumpeters House for the after party. It was a night to remember.
